Pimeyes, Facecheck and similar services let anyone find all your photos online from a single picture of your face — including ones you didn’t even know about. Each service has its own separate opt-out, and they are not connected — opting out of one doesn’t mean disappearing from the others.
An opt-out from Pimeyes has no effect on Facecheck, Clearview AI or any other similar service — each has its own database and its own opt-out process. To really disappear from all of them, you have to file a request with each service separately.
These services are not hosts but search indexes: they scan public sites and find your photos there, but they neither store nor control the files themselves. If you file an opt-out without removing the original photos from the source sites, the index will simply rescan the same sites and fill up with the same photos again.
The Pimeyes form has a «legal basis» field — most people either leave it empty or write something vague, and the request automatically lands in the «discretionary» category, which is often simply not reviewed.
Found yourself in face search? We can remove you from there
We will remove photos at the source, file an opt-out with each service separately and set up periodic checks — a free consultation takes a couple of minutes.
